New Group Focused on Upholding GOP Values

Monmouth County, NJ – The Real Republicans of Monmouth County have unveiled their slate of candidates for the upcoming Republican Primary Election on June 10. This newly formed group is committed to electing Republicans who respect core GOP values and are dedicated to promoting honest, transparent, and fair governance.
Renzo Kolenovic, the chairman of the group, stated that many local Republicans are frustrated with the current leadership of County GOP Chairman Shaun Golden and are stepping up to challenge the establishment’s candidates and to better serve the residents of Monmouth County.
“We are a group of Republicans who believe in open, honest, and fair government, and we want a party organization that is free from intimidation and threats by party leaders,” said Kolenovic, a Marlboro resident.
“We also believe Monmouth residents deserves a more responsive and fiscally responsible county government – one that reflects the economic and social values of real Republicans,” he added.,
The Real Republicans of Monmouth County’s slate of candidates includes:
- Danielle Bellomo of Marlboro for County Clerk
- Mary C. “Katie” Kelliher of Freehold Township for County Commissioner
- Ronald Osadacz Jr. of Freehold Township for County Commissioner
- Richard Castaldo of Middletown for Assembly in the 13th District
Kolenovic also announced that the group’s candidate for Sheriff will be revealed next week.
Danielle Bellomo for County Clerk
Danielle Bellomo, 38, is a passionate advocate for parental rights and the future of children. In November 2024, she was elected to the Marlboro Board of Education, earning a record-breaking 10,700-plus votes. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Bellomo previously worked as a marketing manager before focusing on raising a family. She and her husband Charles have three children. Bellomo dedicates her free time to various philanthropic efforts to mentor the youngest members of Monmouth County. She is the long-time President of a local PTO, a multi troop girl scout leader and council delegate for Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore and a volunteer coach, in addition to serving as a volunteer elected official on the Marlboro Board of Education.
Bellomo is running for County Clerk to eliminate political favoritism in county government, restore election integrity, reduce wasteful spending, enhance efficiency, and improve services and county wide communication practices particularly for senior citizens.
Mary C. “Katie” Kelliher for County Commissioner
Katie Kelliher, 47, is a top real estate agent with over 25 years of experience, helping families buy and sell homes in Monmouth County. A cum laude graduate of Jersey City State College, Kelliher was a licensed special education/regular education teacher before transitioning to real estate. She is a strong advocate for quality education in Monmouth County. Kelliher and her husband Bill have been married for 21 years and have three children. As an animal lover, Kelliher is also passionate about supporting animal rescues. She is running for County Commissioner to be a voice for the taxpayers and people who are overlooked by the current administration.
Ronald Osadacz Jr. for County Commissioner
Ronald Osadacz Jr., 33, is a detective in Aberdeen and president of a local Police Benevolent Association. A graduate of Marlboro High School, Osadacz began his law enforcement career in 2009. He is a recipient of the Kimberly Smith Ames Award for DWI enforcement, named after a local mother and unborn child tragically killed by a drunk driver. He is also a former member of the local volunteer fire department. Osadacz and his wife Nicole, a dental hygienist, have been married for eight years and have two young children. Osadacz seeks election to the County Commission to advocate for a more thorough understanding of law enforcement’s needs and to confront the current Sheriff, Shaun Golden, who also serves as the Chairman of the Monmouth County Republican Organization.
